Sequels to a 1996 film? Yet another sequel to Transformers (each getting progressively worse)? Another Avatar? A re-release of ET?
ReplyDeleteI don't know about you, but the sense of abject desperation in the movie business has become almost palpable to me as a movie goer.
The only one of these re-treads I'm looking forward to is the re-release of ET. Spielberg is timeless. I'll very likely spring for that ticket.
The others probably won't even make it into my Netflix queue.
I agree, Hollywood is more desperate than ever for original ideas. Very depressing.
