Professor Tricia Jenkins discusses the history of the CIA in Hollywood. This is a good, brief overview. Also featured in this audio are statements from former CIA operative Robert Baer, whose non-fiction books inspired the George Clooney film Syriana (2005). I interviewed Baer in 2008. He told me: "All these people that run studios, they go to
Washington, they hang around with senators, they hang around with CIA
directors, and everybody’s onboard."

The following hearing would be awesome!!!:

I think that I will send my best example to every member of the United States Congress and suggest that they have such a hearing!

The Agency was sure well represented at the Golden Globes. Whatever anyone may choose to think about the intelligence community in Tinseltown, their presence and influence are clear enough.
